Vlog #5

Me rambling (I tend to do that I’ve noticed :I ) about new year, my goals, and reaching half completion with my book.

  1. You will get there, it just takes time. Half way through is a great place to be, :)

Who are you thinking of helping with editing? I’ve done some myself. but will be getting in a pro to work over the whole book. I think there are some great indie published books out there, but sometimes there only downside is editing. That’s a shame, as it puts you off.

Hope you continue on with all your goals. :)

    • Well, for the moment I was planning on having my fiance nitpick through it for the grammatical stuff, but beyond that, I have no idea. >_> I don’t know how much it costs to get edited, who I can trust to edit it when its finished (beyond like, people I already know and stuff), or even where to find a pro one, buuuuut, yeah.

  2. Congratulations on getting so far in your book. Each page counts!

  3. Good luck with the book. Your goal of 6 in a year is pretty ambitious, especially if you do your own editing and formatting if you self publish. But 6 first drafts in a year, very doable.

    • That’s pretty much how I figure. I’m going to try really hard and see what comes out of it.

      Thanks for the luck! :)

      • It takes more commitment than luck and if you want it enough you’ll do it. I set myself a goal last year of six books published. I lost a lot of sleep, missed meals and turned down many social engagements, but the books are out there and it feels real good. So go for it! You can do it! :)

    • Wow, nice! I’ll take a page from your book (haha, book humor) and try to emulate that kind of productivity.

      I can do eeeet!
